Powerlifting champion and social media influencer Stefi Cohen has been arrested in Miami on allegations of domestic battery—just over a year after she was charged in a separate case involving leaked explicit images.
Cohen, 33, who boasts over a million followers on Instagram and is known for her dominance in the powerlifting world, was taken into custody on July 1. According to a Miami police arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE, the incident unfolded during a heated altercation with her live-in boyfriend.
The argument allegedly escalated when the victim tried to leave upon discovering that Cohen was secretly recording their conversation on her laptop. Cohen then allegedly accused him of stealing her phone—mistaking his own device for hers. According to police, she began scratching him and tore the pocket of his pants during the struggle.
The victim reportedly suffered multiple visible scratches across his forehead, face, neck, chest, and stomach. When questioned by officers, Cohen claimed that the man had punched her in the right eye and scratched her face. However, officers noted she only had a visible scratch on her bicep and no signs of facial injury.
Cohen was arrested at the scene and charged with misdemeanor battery. It remains unclear whether she has entered a plea or secured legal representation.
This is not Cohen’s first legal controversy. In 2024, she was charged with cyberstalking and resisting arrest after allegedly hacking into her ex-boyfriend’s laptop and leaking nude photos of his new girlfriend. That case stemmed from a report filed by the woman in 2023. A trial hearing for those charges is already scheduled for August.
At the time of that arrest, CBS reported Cohen publicly denied the allegations, stating she had been "falsely accused of a crime" by a "vengeful" ex in a comment on social media.
As of now, no official statement has been released from Cohen or her representatives regarding the latest arrest.
